Glades Announces Program Rebrand for 2023-24 Season
Wednesday, January 25th was a big day for Vermont Youth Hockey with the rebranding announcement from Vermont's oldest and established Tier 1 Hockey program - the Glades Youth Hockey program. For the 2023-24 Season forward the Glades will now be known as the Vermont Junior Catamounts!
This new group will be run by current program director Justin Martin, as well as some new faces Mike Torney as General Manager, Jaime Sifers as Director of Player Development, Matt Miles as the Schedule and Events Director along with Brady Leisenring our Coaching Director.
The Vermont Junior Catamounts will build off of the tremendous foundation and rich history the Vermont Glades have provided the Vermont Hockey community since 2005.
With our exciting new management team, and the stable of top-end coaches and hockey experts already in place, and skills development through the use of the Elev802 facility and its staff, we will be offering a World Class Development model for all of our players.
Our teams will continue to play in the E9 and Boston Hockey League for league play and will be using our connections to gain access to higher-end tournaments for our teams, which will offer our players a highly competitive schedule like no others offered here in VT...
Lastly, as the Glades evolve into the Vermont Junior Catamounts over the next couple of months, and we look towards tryouts for the 2023-24 season, we also look forward to finalizing our count of next year's teams, we will continue to build on this amazing hockey community that we have here in Vermont to help support and surround our players with a Community of Excellence. Great coaches, top-notch skills work, quality competition, and a positive community to help support these players and their growth as young hockey players!
