Jr. Cats Learn Breathing Strategies with Nicole Carpenter
This past Sunday, September 15th the Vermont Junior Catamounts program participated in their 1st of 3 Breathing Workshops with Nicole Carpenter to learn how proper breathing can improve Athletic Performance and Recovery!
It is a fascinating subject that all of the Jr. Cats participants enjoyed. There were a ton of great questions, super engagement with those who participated because after all...we all need to breath each and every day, so why not make our breathing more efficient to maximize our potential as an athlete.
Nicole Carpenter treated the Jr. Cats to a review of our bodies and how they work...some science but also a great amount of activities for our athletes to practice and learn to try and add some value to their athletic development each and every day.
We focus so much on our skills as hockey players, skating, stick handling, passing, puck possession and shooting...these workshops are to help our community of athletes to learn about other areas where we can make small incremental improvements to help with their own long term goals...that consistent, continued improvements each and every year as student athletes and as hockey players.
Thanks to all that could join us. Link to the full hour long class is below.
