VT Jr Cats & PH International Host Latvian Group

The Vermont Junior Catamounts are honored to help host a group from Latvia this week starting Monday, October 21st and going through Saturday, October 26th. 10 visitors from the Country of Latvia will be visiting the Green mountain State to learn about us and our hockey culture.

Sponsored by PH International the Jr. Cats were invited to assist with hosting these visitors and serve as consultants for their trip to VT and help them fill out their schedule of events. 

While here we will help build stronger relations between the State of Vermont and Latvia, as well as share ideas on Youth Hockey, Women's Hockey, Goalie Development, Social Media, the Hockey Community at large as well as visit UVM, Castleton to help them to understand the rich history of ice hockey here in VT as well as a means for us to learn more about Latvia and their hockey community as well. 

There will be fellowship, plenty of good Vermont food and some great ice hockey action. We are honored to be a part of this program and its initiative which is to use Sport for Social Change!
